What If Language Shifted Daily & No One Knew What Tomorrow’s Words Would Be?

 Imagine waking up and realizing the words you said yesterday don't mean the same thing anymore. "Love" might mean "storm" now. "Friend" might mean "goodbye" now. Conversations would only leave behind confusion and guesses. 

People would start writing feelings instead of words. Maybe songs made of colours, poems draw rather than speaking. Maybe, silence would be the only thing that wouldn't change. 

And maybe, that would be what will make us stop and listen. Not to the words, but the meaning behind them.
